THANKSGIVING!!
THANKSGIVING.
That was the subject line on an email we just received from our national director Machaa. What followed was nothing short of shocking and very troubling.
Machaa’s wife Grace was waiting for a ride home from her once a month work in Naivasha. Grace was accosted and forced into a vehicle by two men and a women. She was held against her will for more than two hours as demands were made for money.
Grace cooperated and was finally released. The thieves took her phone and the few schillings she had on her and in her Mpesa account. This totaled only about $10. The perpetrators did manage to access the credit available on her bank account. That was $400, not a big deal to us but very significant to a Kenyan.
When she was released she went immediately to the police so there is an active investigation underway and the authorities are tracking her phone and finances.
Machaa’s focus through all of this has been an attitude of immense gratitude to God for Grace’s safety. She is traumatized but unhurt physically!
We will keep you posted on developments, but wanted all the friends of Little Lambs to be thanking God with us for his protection of those we love and serve with in Kenya.
Merry Christmas From Shepherd's Little Lambs
We celebrate the birth of Christ this Christmas, the most generous gift ever given. It is a privilege to partner with you in ministry as we work to help vulnerable children in Kenya.
Everyone at Little Lambs wishes you and your family the very best during this Christmas and throughout 2023.
May you experience the peace of Christ this Christmas season!
CHRISTMAS COMES TO KENYA!!
Merry Christmas everyone!
We all had an amazing time with kids, staff and a few invited guests at Nakuru Little Lambs. After two years of not having a party, we were glad that when we had one it was not disappointing. The food was plentiful and well prepared, there were sodas and Gracie (my wife) had made cakes for the occasion. Susan had also invited Gracie to share the Word and she did a good job. All in all we had a great time. On behalf of Nakuru people be blessed!
At Green Pastures, we had another wonderful day. Even with the rains keeping everyone confined in the hall, we all enjoyed the day. Both Kiambogo and Kijabe primary school head teachers joined us among other guests. The kids had a blast, they didn’t want to leave. I’m sure they wanted the day to prolong forever. On their behalf and behalf of both staff and caregivers, please accept our gratitudes and God’s blessings.
I have attached a few pictures from both days. Enjoy!

Justice Served... Finally
Back in January 2019, Blasto was in a serious car accident, that resulted in the loss of life. Blasto was unhurt and not the cause of the accident.
Please join us in thanking God for the good news that Blasto has been cleared of any wrong doing.
It has been a long journey and we a praising God that truth has finally prevailed.
